Well, it was only a matter of time. Today we have the first photos of an alleged Nokia Lumia smartwatch device. Almost every tech company is working or rumored to be working on a smartwatch, and Nokia can’t be left out. The device has been spotted by Weibo and CtechCN in two close-up photos that don’t give us much to go on. Let’s dissect what we can see.
The first photo is a close up of what appears to be where the wrist band connects to the actual device. The connector seems to suggest interchangeable bands which could point to personalization. The device is black plastic with a Nokia logo, but we can’t see the display at all.
The second photo gives us a side view of the device. We can see the connector again on the left, and a rounded contour on the bottom. Once again it’s hard to tell if we can see a display since the top of the device is so smooth. That’s about all we can say about the device. No rumors specs or other details were given. Microsoft has been rumored to be working on a smartwatch in the past. Hopefully the two companies can now team up and create one awesome device.
