For weeks we've been hearing a lot about Cortana,and this may be a shot of what using the speech service will look like when the phone is locked. Lumia 929

Glance Screen Update Colour clock in GDR 3




Currently the Glance screen only offers white text most of the time, and a night mode which is in red characters.  It seems with Bittersweet Shimmer, the next minor version of Windows Phone, users will be able to choose from Red, Green, Blue and White.


Other recently rumoured improvements to the Glance screen is that it will support much fuller notifications there, meaning much less need to unlock your phone to check for new emails and such.

The features are still much less than an Symbian, where the Glance screen was pretty powerful, but I think we will have very little to complain about in a few months time.
